Events, Books and Life

Hello - how have you all been? I cant believe how long it has been since I wrote to you all! Hopefully you have all been following me @ Calma Shore Positive Mind Positive Life on Facebook and Instagram. Its been a busy year and I had to take some time out for physical self care as my mobility has been challenged but I have embraced my crutches and mobility scooter ( decorated with twinkly lights and named Oscar !), a beautiful gift from an understanding friend. Accepting and learning to live with what life brings us is half the battle and my family and friends have been there for me through the mire, however, maintaining a positive and grounded mindset has been my saving. Slowly on the mend and working on my self care to improve my health is the focus.

My Hypnotherapy and NLP practice continues to thrive and I completed a CPD Course in September on Hypnotherapy for Children which was excellent and I will be using this more next year. In January, I will complete a CPD course in IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) which is a brief process therapy for changing undesired emotions and behaviour, as for trauma, anxiety, anger, habits fear, shame, guilt, stress and depression. Thus will add to my tools to support my clients and give them the best experience possible, tailored to their own situations.

Thoughts from the Hills is launched today. I have so many people to thank who helped me make this project come to fruition and they are all acknowledged in the book.

This book has been written with love and is dedicated to one of my best friends and to one of my daughters best friends, both of whom we lost far too young to cancer. 10% of all profits from the book will be donated to Cancer Research to help all those who are still suffering and in memory of all those we have lost to cancer. I had my own health scare this year, as I've already partly mentioned, which held up the finalising of the book, and the clarity I gained from being very grateful for everyone I have in my life and who supports me to make the most of everyday has been very rewarding

I hope this book inspires you, supports and uplifts you , with monthly journaling prompts through out the book, I will be starting monthly in person and online journaling classes to "Journal with me" over the months of the year in 2025. Lets grow together.

You can purchase the book from my website Thoughts from the Hills Hardback Book | Calma Shore, at the Blairmore Cafe Shop , at BookPoint, Dunoon or from myself if you live locally to Dunoon. Just email me or private message me and we can arrange collection/delivery.

Thank you all for your continued support and love. Have a wonderful Christmas and may 2025 bring you peace and joy that you desire

Lynds xx
